I'm Sarah and together with my partner, commonly known on the blog as Daddy, we adopted a gorgeous, sparky little girl in 2012 known on the blog as Missy.
This blog started out as my diary and a way to keep family and close friends updated with our adoption process. Whilst it still is my diary, it is also a way for me to raise awareness of adoption, fostering and other important aspects relating to childcare. At times I'm brutally honest about how I'm feeling - adoption is hard but there are also plenty of goods times that I blog about too.
I keep sane with chocolate, cake, reiki and EFT. Mostly chocolate.
